Hello, my name is Brian Brooks and welcome to my TheBlueLens Studio photography website. While interested in many types of photography, I usually find myself gravitating to wildlife shots, both underwater and on land.

Why “TheBlueLens”? As we all know, over 70 percent of our earth is covered by water. When I was younger, I was deeply drawn to the photos of our earth taken from space during the Apollo missions. The famous Apollo 17 “Blue Marble” images have provided me with inspiration I am still trying to satisfy, through my lens.

I am extremely fortunate to live in Colorado. Not only are there endless sources of photographic opportunities here but many world-class underwater sites are reasonably accessible from Colorado.
